Even fictional stories. Where the baby was never real because, you know, it's fiction. Even baby animals that die make me upset - I can't watch nature documentaries anymore.
I get upset when mothers and fathers die too but it isn't the same.
There's a reason we don't have a word for parents who have lost a child. It's because we are so afraid of it, so resistant to it, that we don't want to acknowledge that it happens.
